Who Me?

The girls love to play this game called "make a HUGE mess." They bring one toy at a time to the sister who is waiting in their bedroom. That sister then proceeds to throw it into a big pile and then wait for the next item. At the time I LOVE this game because it allows me to get something done around the house. Later is when I don't like this game so much -- clean-up time! Here is Kira looking at me like, "it wasn't me, Mom!"
MacKenzie has really been into reading books to Kira lately. I love to see these kind of moments. So sweet!

Adult Time

An evening with friends. Sarah, me, Cliff, Svein-Olav and his sister Kari Helene. We went for Thai food and then out for a few drinks. It was such a nice "adult" evening. Thank you Scott for watching the girls!

We have made so many great friends this summer! All of which happen to have kids very close in age to our girls.

Jenny & Steve (from US) : Benjamin (5) & Sadie (1)
Sarah & Svein Olav (from Norway) : Cornelia (5) & Gustov (3)
Kiley & Bruce (from US): Vivian (almost 3)

It has been so great getting to know each of these families! They are all amazing and so much fun to be around.

We also have met 2 of the most amazing Koreans. Ajuma and Ajoshi. They live a few buildings down from ours and have become such a big part of our lives. They are so good to us and just adore the girls. Today Ajum brought us to this really beautiful restaurant for lunch. The decor was so peaceful. Fresh flowers EVERYWHERE. It really helped brighten up my kind of gloomy day. Thanks, Ajuma!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Best Friends

Well, we have been in Korea now just short of 6 months. I am really missing my girls time with my best buds! I really am so lucky to have such great friends. Two of my very best friends happen to be related to me (awesome luck)! Jessi, who is my cousin but feels like my sister. And Mona, my sister-in-law and "tell it like it is" friend!

March of 2007 (5 months after having Kira) the three of us headed to Las Vegas for 5 whole days (thanks to my awesome mother and father-in-law who watched the girls)! This was a great motivation to lose some baby weight and get back to the girl I was (or atleast resemble her..LOL). We had a blast and are already talking about going back. Vegas Baby!
